They still make these but they are just not the same. I wish my mum was as petite as I am so I could grab all those lovely hand-me-downs from the 70s and 80s for that timeless vintage feel...

Shoes are like a commitment, you walk on them and you depend on them. I like to think that shoes are the most important part of an outfit-you can go out all night and put your hand bag down and take off your jacket but the shoes stay on...

The fascinating thing about collecting vintage shoes is imagining the first person who ever wore the shoes and what they used to do in those shoes...
